Welcome to Lucent Sky AVM version 2306 MR, the final release before Lucent Sky AVM 10. This release includes improvements on binary, source code, and dependency analysis engines, improved support for version control systems, and support for CWE 4.12. Autopilot was first introduced in the CLI in version 2106. It detects technical information of a collection of source code, such as the frameworks and languages, and creates scans automatically, enabling stakeholders to scan applications without technical knowledge of them. In version 2306, we have expanded autopilot by adding it to the Web UI and included additional functionalities. Autopilot scans created by the same collection of source code are now grouped together, and subsequent scans are automatically tracked under the same applications. In addition, advanced configurations such as access control, rule packages, weakness policies, and scan arguments are now available to new and existing autopilot scans.

A preview of Lucent Sky AVM for Visual Studio Code is available for customers in the Lucent Sky AVM Preview Program. The preview is available for Windows 10 and 11, and requires Visual Studio Code version 1.74 or later. Version 2306 is the last release that provides backward compatibility for result hashes generated by Lucent Sky AVM version 2009 and earlier. The next version of Lucent Sky AVM will use the forth-generation binary and source code analysis engines, and will only provide backward compatibility for result hashes generated by version 2103 and later.
In addition, version 2306 is also the last release that can access scans created by Lucent Sky AVM version 4.7 and earlier.
If you are using Lucent Sky AVM Enterprise or Standard Edition (either on-premise or cloud) and have an active subscription, you can update to 2306 MR immediately. Our support team will reach out to you shortly to schedule an update. If you are using Lucent Sky AVM On-Demand, your server will be updated to 2306 MR in the next few days.
