Lucent Sky AVM version 2112 MR released

Happy 2022 and welcome to Lucent Sky AVM version 2112 MR, the first Minor Release for the year. The forth-generation remediation engine is the highlight of this release, enabling Instant Fixes and contextual remediation suggestions to more vulnerabilities. Also included in the release are support for .NET 6, JDK 17, Groovy and ActionScript applications, as well as CWE 4.6 and OWASP Top 10 2021. The Web UI and reporting engine come with usability improvements such as history of individual results, improved syntax highlighting, and in case you haven’t noticed, dark mode. .NET 6 and JDK 17 support

The built-in .NET 5 and JDK 14 runtimes have been updated to .NET 6 and JDK 17 respectively, and can be used to scan .NET 6 and JDK 17 applications.

Groovy and ActionScript support

Scan Groovy applications as Java applications, and scan ActionScript applications as TypeScript applications.

Updating to 2112 MR

If you are using Lucent Sky AVM Enterprise or Standard Edition (either on-premise or cloud) and have an active subscription, you can update to 2112 MR immediately. Our support team will reach out to you shortly to schedule an update.

Because of the number of breaking changes, 2112 MR will not be automatically rolling out to Lucent Sky AVM On-Demand servers. If you are using Lucent Sky AVM On-Demand, our support team will reach out to you to confirm and schedule your update.
