In Lucent Sky AVM 3.0, we are extending mobile application compatibility from Windows and Xamarin apps to iOS and Android apps. The support for mobile-focused vulnerabilities has also been extended. Support for mobile apps developed for iOS and Android is currently in beta, with full support planned in Summer 2016.

Lucent Sky AVM 3.0 is also the second part of a major update that is designed to improve compatibility with large Java applications with thousands of code files and complex referencing structure. In this release, we focused on making Lucent Sky AVM more compatible with Java applications with complex reference structures.

New features in Lucent Sky AVM 3.0 include:

• Support of iOS and Android apps - Mobile applications support has been extended to those developed for iOS (in Objective-C) and for Android (in Java), in addition to mobile apps developed using .NET Framework (such as Windows Runtime and Xamarin). Common mobile vulnerabilities such as those in the OWASP Mobile Top 10 can be identified and mitigated.
• Improved compatibility of Java applications with complex references - A major overhaul has been done to the Java compiler to bring better support for Java applications, especially those with complex (sometimes even circular) references, as well as those with a large number of internal and 3rd-party libraries.
